We Have All the Bubbly Bichon Puppies for Sale!
You see those little snowballs and you just want to pick one up and let them melt in your arms and heart.
The official AKC standard description of the Bichon Frise is perfectly put. They call them “a white powder puff of a dog whose merry temperament is evidenced by his plumed tail carried jauntily over the back and his dark-eyed inquisitive expression.” We couldn’t agree more. Our available Bichon puppies for sale are little puffs of personality, check them out right here!
Active Yet Sedentary
Despite their excitability and cuteness overload, the Bichon doesn’t really require too much daily activity. They can stand to have a few walks a day, along with some play time and they’re happy and content. Bichons get along swimmingly well with people of all ages. They are the perfect companion for kids and adults, because they are simply joyful and lovable. Apartment dwellers can easily take home one of our Bichon puppies and live comfortably together, especially since they don’t require a lot of space nor vigorous exercise.
Slow Moving Fast Train, Huh?
Okay, so here’s the thing with the Bichon puppy. They are easy to train, when it comes to tricks and commands. You’ll find that they love to please and respond well to positive reinforcement and treats. Because Bichons are big time barkers, they will benefit most with having formal training. They aren’t aggressive barkers, just the kind to alert you of…everything!
Now, on the flip side Bichons are notoriously difficult to house train. Crate training is recommended or you might consider a professional. If the latter isn’t possible, no worries. You just need to be consistent and patient.
The Bichon Frise is one of the most popular hybrid breeding dogs. We think it is because of their charming dispositions and their low shedding, hypoallergenic coats. Breeders find many qualities of the Bichon puppy that they want passed along for generations and generations. Some of the most popular Bichon mixes include:
- The Cavachon – which is a mix of the Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and Bichon
- The Poochon – a blend of the Bichon and a Poodle
- La-Chon – a mix of the Bichon and Lhasa Apso
- Zuchon – a blend of the Bichon and the Shih Tzu
The Bichon puppy has a beautiful coat, but what makes it even more spectacular is that they are hypoallergenic. This means people who suffer from dog allergies can take home any of our Bichon puppies for sale. Their coats shed very little and is rather comparable to that of a Poodle. The longer their hair grows, the cuter and curlier it gets. Consequently, professional and regular grooming is necessary to maintain the purity of the powdery white coats. Visiting the groomer every 6-8 weeks will keep your Bichon looking radiant!
