Did we mention that Pomskies are one of the most curious breeds? Well they are! Their high-pitched barking can be an indicator of something that peaked their interest. Because of its loud sound, it’ll naturally peak yours too!

Pomsky puppies have varied temperaments, which of course depends on each parental breed’s genetic makeup. In general, Pomskies are considered to be rather smart, energetic, loving, and playful dogs.

These puffballs are really that, so they shed a lot! They naturally have a lot of hair, but you’ll want to invest in some shedding tools for daily maintenance, for sure!

As we’ve previously noted, you’ll notice the Pomsky puppies are energetic and playful. As a result, they’ll need to be exercise regularly. Playing with and walking them will tired them out and give them the exercise they need.

They are pretty trainable, though they might inherit the stubbornness of Pomeranians. Because they’re half Husky, when they get bored they may display destructive bad behavior like chewing on things or barking incessantly. Exercise and reward-based training will combat this.

Pomskies have a relatively high life expectancy of 13 to 15 years! Pomsky puppies start off teeny but a fully grown Pomsky pup can weigh between 20 and 30 pounds.

Pomskies might be susceptible to hip dysplasia, ectopy, or tooth decay. They may also be prone to skin irritations and eye infections.

The Pomsky loves to dig, so it’s not recommended that they’re left alone in yards for long periods of time, or they’ll show their escape artist skills!
