More Adorable Morkie Puppies Pretty Please!

October 17, 2018

Morkie puppies are a tiny and adorable designer breed that combines a Yorkshire Terrier and a Maltese.

The result is a beautiful breed. Let’s dive right into the basics about them right now!

Punch of Personality

The combination of these two breeds created a beautiful dog with a loving personality. These petite fluff balls are quite playful. Give them a ball to chase and they will. Invite them to a game of fetch, and they’ll participate! If you’ve got kids at home, Morkie puppies is a purchase you’ll want to make and won’t regret. They will keep your little ones busy and entertained. Whether it’s playing or merely cuddling, you can count on Morkies. We do, however, think they should be monitored around young toddlers, who could easily hurt the pup if they’re not careful. They love being around family which can create a problem with separation anxiety. They don’t like to be left alone for long periods of time.

They’ve Got a Past, but It’s Short

Morkies were born and originated in the United States. The goal was to create a loving, hypoallergenic, cute little lapdog and the mission is complete. They are cuteness overload, and they can’t help it.

Morkie puppies have been steadily gaining popularity for the last 20 years, though they are not officially recognized as a breed. That doesn’t matter, because they are in demand! You may sometimes see them referred to as a Yorktese or a Morkshire Terrier, but we like Morkie!

Bright but Stubborn

Training Morkies is a moderately easy task. They are intelligent and eager to please and learn tricks. They are cute and cuddly, sure, but they are also stubborn which can be trying while training them. Don’t give up! They come around and become very attentive. They require gentle but firm tactics, and won’t respond to harsh treatment, nor should they ever be subjected to it. Give them treats and praise, and you’ll get the desired results.
