  1. Newfoundland puppies will grow to be around 28 inches tall and weigh 120 to 150 pounds.
  2. They have webbed feet.
  3. They are incredibly courageous, which is one of the many reasons they make excellent rescue dogs.
  4. Though they lack the stamina for running long distances, they can run very fast.
  5. They have big heads.
  6. Newfoundland puppies are born with double coats which keeps them warm during freezing temperatures.
  7. Speaking of freezing temperatures, their double coats allow them to swim in cold waters.
